On the afternoon of June 6th, Chen Huici, the President of Donghua College in Hong Kong, Chen Ziqiang, the Dean of the School of Humanities at Donghua College, Sun Guiping, the Dean of the School of Nursing at Donghua College, Huang Liping, the Director of the Office of the President of Donghua College, Liang Zhiheng, the Director of the Communication and Public Relations Department of Donghua College, Du Siyuan, the Chairman of Secco (China) Co., Ltd. and the Director of the Jiangmen Overseas Chinese Merchants Association, Jiang Yacui, the General Manager of Guangdong Aobai Technology Co., Ltd. (Jiangmen Secco Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd.), and Cui Luqin, the Vice President and Secretary General of the Jiangmen Overseas Chinese Merchants Association, visited and exchanged ideas at Wuyi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Jiangmen City. Chen Zhimei, Deputy Minister of the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee, Director of the Municipal Civil Service Bureau, and Director of the Municipal Talent Work Bureau, Wang Yuansheng, Deputy Director of the Municipal Health Bureau, Ma Shaofeng, Deputy Secretary and Dean of the Hospital Party Committee, and Yu Shangzhen, Member of the Party Committee and Vice Dean, participated in the exchange activities.

Chen Zhimei, Deputy Minister of the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee, Director of the Municipal Civil Service Bureau, and Director of the Municipal Talent Work Bureau, stated that Jiangmen City, as a vibrant and charming city, is also a preferred city for talent development. Guided by the six major projects, Jiangmen will continue to strongly support talents from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao to come to Jiangmen for innovation and entrepreneurship. I hope to engage in multi-disciplinary, wide-ranging, and deep level cooperation with Donghua University through this meeting, seize the development opportunities of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and continue to build and improve a regional brand that integrates talents from Jiangsu, Hong Kong, and Macao for mutual benefit and high-quality development.

Professor Chen Huici, President of Tung Wah College in Hong Kong, stated that this visit has personally experienced the magical therapeutic effects of traditional Chinese medicine, further deepening our understanding of traditional Chinese medicine. In recent years, the school has attached great importance to cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong. The visit to Wuyi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Jiangmen City will provide a good foundation for cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong, especially for cooperation between Jiangsu and Hong Kong. Hong Kong and the Jiangmen region each have their own advantages and strong complementarity in medical systems, medical research, and training. We hope that both sides can continue to deepen cooperation, jointly promote medical development, and bring benefits to the health of the Chinese people.

Wang Yuansheng, Deputy Director of the Municipal Health Bureau, stated that Wuyi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital is a renowned traditional Chinese medicine hospital with a long history and rich heritage. It is at the forefront of traditional Chinese medicine specialty therapies and modern medical treatments in the region. We hope that both sides can have more cooperation projects in the field of Sino Western medical cooperation, continue to promote the inheritance, innovation, and development of traditional Chinese medicine, and make greater contributions to the health of residents in both regions.

Ma Shaofeng, Deputy Secretary of the Hospital Party Committee and Dean, welcomed the leaders of Donghua College in Hong Kong and expressed gratitude to the Municipal Talent Work Bureau, Municipal Health Bureau, and Municipal Overseas Chinese Business Association for providing this learning opportunity. In the future, hospitals will adopt the concept of cooperation and innovation to promote development. Through a model of consultation, co operation, and sharing, they will jointly build an academic exchange and cooperation platform with Donghua University, explore how to make Jianggang Traditional Chinese Medicine cooperation a distinctive brand for regional academic exchange, promote the improvement of hospital medical strength and innovative development of medical research, and contribute to the health and well-being of the people.

Yu Shangzhen, member of the hospital party committee and vice president, introduced the development of the hospital. Jiangmen Wuyi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital has been developing for 65 years and has received the care and support of many Hong Kong and Macao compatriots. We look forward to close cooperation and exchange with Hong Kong Donghua College and more Hong Kong and Macao universities, sharing the experience of traditional Chinese medicine development, promoting the inheritance, innovation, and mutual learning and sharing of traditional Chinese medicine.

After the meeting, the leaders of Donghua College in Hong Kong visited and exchanged ideas with the National Clinical Key Specialty (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Department of Cerebrology, Wuyi Herbal Hall, and National Medical Hall.
