Jiangmen Daily News (Reporter/Guo Yongle) On the 21st, the Jiangmen Higher Vocational Education High Quality Development Exchange Conference was held at the National Postdoctoral Innovation (Jiangmen) Demonstration Center. Representatives from the higher vocational education industry in Jiangmen and Hong Kong, as well as experts from food and medical groups, gathered in Jiangmen to discuss new ideas and methods of vocational education and provide suggestions for promoting the development of higher vocational education.

In recent years, the Municipal Party Committee and Government have attached great importance to talent work, vigorously implemented the "Talent Doubling" project, accelerated the construction of high-level talent highlands in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and introduced a series of talent policies, including the "14 Measures for Strengthening the City with Talents", the "New 40 Measures for Strengthening the City with Talents", the "Three Year Action Plan for Self cultivation", and the "Eight Actions for Attracting Talents and Gathering Intelligence", aiming to provide strong intellectual support for the high-quality development of Jiangmen and accelerate the construction of a national important talent strategic pivot city that gathers overseas Chinese innovation and entrepreneurship. The foundation for further strengthening talent exchange and cooperation between Hong Kong and Jiangmen has been established, with broad prospects.

At the exchange meeting, multiple cooperation agreements were signed between Jiangmen Vocational and Technical College, Guangdong Jiangmen Vocational College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guangdong Jiangmen Preschool Teachers College, Jiangmen Yates Vocational and Technical School, Hong Kong Donghua College, Hong Kong Institute of Higher Education Technology, and the Hong Kong Food Council; The Central Hospital, Wuyi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and Third People's Hospital of the City have signed contracts with Hong Kong Tung Wah College to strengthen cooperation in their respective fields.

Feng Guangyuan, President of Jiangmen Overseas Chinese Merchants Association and Chairman of Heshan Yatushi Printing Co., Ltd., stated that Jiangmen and Hong Kong are geographically close and have close relationships. With the implementation and promotion of the national "14th Five Year Plan" and the "Development Plan Outline for the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area", the interaction of education majors and cultural exchanges between the two regions continue to develop, with closer exchanges and closer cooperation. I hope to take this opportunity to strengthen the connection between Jiangmen and Hong Kong vocational education, promote more excellent further education exchange and internship projects to land in Jiangmen, seize opportunities together, innovate institutional mechanisms, deepen strategic cooperation, achieve complementary advantages, deepen the integration of medical and education, and work together to promote the high-quality development of higher vocational education.
