"The ceramic film thickness of Chaoyang ceramic cylinder is 50-125 times thinner than ordinary cast iron; the weight of the ceramic film is more than 30 times lighter than ordinary cast iron; the friction coefficient of the ceramic film is 6 times lower than that of cast iron cylinder; and the hardness of the ceramic film is 3 times that of cast iron cylinder," said Liu Yangyang, the project leader.

At present, Chaoyang ceramic cylinders have been successfully applied in fields such as drones, manned aircraft, high-speed rail, state guest vehicles, police cars, industrial air compressors, large displacement motorcycles, garden machinery, etc. They have also served as the core of state guest vehicle engines and the core of attack 1 drone engines, participating in military inspections and receiving reviews from the Party and the people. In addition, Chaoyang ceramic cylinders have made significant breakthroughs in the field of manned aircraft, obtaining airworthiness certificates for manned aircraft in France and Germany. The Civil Aviation Administration of China also went to the company in August 2022 for the airworthiness certification of manned aircraft, and it has been successfully completed. At present, Chaoyang Precision is producing more than 140 types of ceramic cylinders, including 21 types for aviation.
